Happy First Day of Summer!

The first day of summer is one of my favorite days of the year!  I love the long, sunny days, flip flops, sundresses and ice cream! Who am I kidding?  I eat ice cream all year long...

I am in search of the BEST local ice cream or frozen yogurt shop in the D.C. area.  Big businesses don't count.  Yes, I too love Dairy Queen, but let's try to stick with the theme of the blog.  I would prefer to find a company that actually makes their own ice cream on site, but I will take whatever suggestions I can get!
