I was thrilled to find the Loudoun Valley HomeGrown Markets Association Farmer's Market at Brambleton Town Center, which is open on Sundays from 9 am to 1 pm May through October.
I had great success and picked up the following delicious finds:
Produce: blueberries, tomatoes, onions, zucchini and squash
Meat: delicious sirloin from Buchanan Farm and divinely salty country ham from Baker Farms
For Fun: fresh guacamole from Chef Eloy's Kickin' Salsa
The finds made for a delicious meal! We are thrilled to support these local businesses and I strongly encourage you to try their products.
We don't have a puppy, but if we did, he would be very spoiled! |
We loved their country ham, but all of their products looked delicious! |
Local Loudoun winery with a Civil War Barn that has been transformed into their tasting room- history + wine - don't mind if I do! |
The guacamole was great and their adventurous banana salsa is also excellent |
These local farmers and butchers even raise the feed they give the cattle! |
