Loudoun Valley HomeGrown Markets Association

We were hosting an early Father's Day for Blair's dad this weekend.  His siblings (less his older brother) were in town for the weekend, and we were having the whole crew over for lunch.  I decided to get up on Sunday morning, stroll to the local farmer's market and make a meal based on what I found.

I was thrilled to find the Loudoun Valley HomeGrown Markets Association Farmer's Market at Brambleton Town Center, which is open on Sundays  from 9 am to 1 pm May through October.

I had great success and picked up the following delicious finds:

Produce: blueberries, tomatoes, onions, zucchini and squash
Meat: delicious sirloin from Buchanan Farm and divinely salty country ham from Baker Farms
For Fun: fresh guacamole from Chef Eloy's Kickin' Salsa

The finds made for a delicious meal!  We are thrilled to support these local businesses and I strongly encourage you to try their products.

We don't have a puppy, but if we did, he would be very spoiled!

We loved their country ham, but all of their products looked delicious!

Local Loudoun winery with a Civil War Barn that has been transformed into their tasting room- history + wine - don't mind if I do!

The guacamole was great and their adventurous banana salsa is also excellent
These local farmers and butchers even raise the feed they give the cattle!
